Please join us in Galveston Texas, October 6 - 8, for the 2008 Technology for Information Security Conference. United Space Alliance's Information Technology Security, in concert with NASA, ISSA, InfraGard, ASIS, and Vanguard is pleased to present its 7th Conference on IT Security Strategies and Training for Tomorrow's Information Technology. This conference is unique in that not only will today's technological enhancements and problems be presented, but real solutions to these problems will be presented as well.
The conference is designed to bring together the emerging laws, protection technologies and certification authorities, and vendors into a single venue, to provide you with a comprehensive knowledge and expertise of both the logical and physical protection needs for addressing today's electronic commerce and government. A one-day conference extension (October 9) is also planned for the administration of Professional Certification tests.
The conference will be divided into special presentations and tracks that address current information concerns as well as security issues associated with emerging technologies. Each track will be designed to begin with the basics and progress to highly technical solutions, allowing you to selectively choose the subject matter that pertains to your individual needs. Subject areas include understanding Homeland Defense initiatives and protecting the Critical Infrastructure, cyber terrorism, and identity theft - what are they, and what can be done to protect your enterprise and yourself; the latest trends in Hacking and Cracking; key management issues, safeguards and protection mechanisms; computer forensics; legal directions; business contingency planning; and understanding current network and wireless connectivity issues.
